What We Believe

The Christian and Missionary Alliance is an Alliance of evangelical believers, joined together in local churches, dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ. We maintain a "big tent" stance in reference to many doctrinal matters, encouraging believers of diverse backgrounds and theological traditions to unite in an alliance to know and exalt Jesus Christ and to complete His Commission. That Commission clearly instructs us:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19–20,NIV).

 

 

Pastor Matthew York

Matthew has served as Pastor of Faith Alliance since Fall of ’15. He is a graduate of Nyack College (’13).   He deeply loves making the Bible applicable and understandable for every person that walk through the doors of Faith Alliance Church.

He and his wife Tabitha have been married since 2006 and have four boys Matthan, Marcus, Miles, and Michael.
In addition to pastoring, Matthew is the chaplain and an exterior fighter fighter with the Glenmoore Fire Company. He enjoys fishing, kayaking, and a good belly laugh.
