Message from Pastor Dave given on Nov 25th, 2007: I have always had a curiosity about the Bible. I grew up in a church that did not encourage people to read their bibles. Our family did not possess a bible, and so when I was 12 years old I attended a chapel service at the Valley Forge Military Hospital with a neighbor and his family. In the back of the pew were bibles the chapel had provided for people to read during the service. I was so curious about what was in this book that I stuck it under my coat and took it from the chapel. So I am ashamed to admit that your Pastor stole his first Bible. |
