Our MissionOur church was founded in 1992 when a group of believers from Malvern, Pennsylvania had a vision to build a church that was contemporary and relevant for those who normally wouldn't attend church. They determined that the greater Exton area would be an ideal location to start. In 2000 the congregation moved to it's present facility in Glenmoore. Our continued desire is to be a center of faith for those who previously had no understanding or connection to the person of Christ. We preach Christ as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. Together we will make disciples of Jesus Christ. What We Believe The Christian and Missionary Alliance is an Alliance of evangelical believers, joined together in local churches, dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ. We maintain a "big tent" stance in reference to many doctrinal matters, encouraging believers of diverse backgrounds and theological traditions to unite in an alliance to know and exalt Jesus Christ and to complete His Commission. That Commission clearly instructs us: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19–20,NIV). Our Pastor Pastor David Hicks came to Christ through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ while attending West Chester University in 1972. Sensing God's call to ministry, Dave joined the music ministry staff of CCC in 1976 and served as music director of the Great Commission Company and PRISM. Dave left the staff of Campus Crusade in 1983 to attend seminary at the International School of Theology (now associated with King's Seminary in Los Angelos). He graduated in 1986 with a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry. Pastor Dave has served in congregations large and small, in staff positions, and as senior pastor. He has helped out in Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Worship Ministry, Small Group Ministry, and in the creation of new ministries in the churches he has served. His pastorates include Victoria Community Church of Riverside, California (now called "The Grove") from 1986 until 1992, Calvary Fellowship Church of Downingtown, PA from 1992 until 1997, and since 1997 as senior pastor of Faith Alliance Church in Glenmoore. Pastor Dave serves on the Licensing and Ordination board for the Alliance in the Eastern Pennsylvania District and is also very active in helping other churches to assess needed areas of change. Pastor Dave is married to his bride of 21 years, Pamela, and together they have been blessed with 3 children: Emily, Michael and Laura.Dave has served as senior Pastor of Faith Alliance Church since 1997. Prior to coming to FAC, Pastor Dave served in churches in Pennyslvania and California. He has been in the ministry since 1976. Dave and his wife, Pamela, have three teenage children involved in ministry and students at Downingtown West High School. Our Ministries
