It is the story of a loving and compassionate Shepherd who sees that the world is full of sheep who are lost and who need a Savior. It is the story of God Himself taking on flesh, living among us, sacrificing Himself as payment for our sinful ways, and then rising again to lead us to heaven. Why would you believe there is such a thing as an Angel and that those Angels visit men and tell them about this birth of a King? How could three Jewish boys survive being thrown into a fiery furnace? Who has the ability to turn water into wine? Can these beliefs be scientifically proven? How could a single cell generate and evolve over millions and millions of years into creatures as diverse as dinosaurs, apes and humans? How could time and chance produce something so complex as the human brain and so intricate as the human eye? If matter always existed where did it come from? Message from Pastor Dave given on Dec 2nd, 2007: One of the greatest reasons people reject Christianity is that they can’t believe in a God who would allow so much pain and suffering in the world.
